Dairy Status of Visbiome® and Visbiome® Extra Strength
The strains of beneficial probiotic bacteria in Visbiome and Visbiome Extra Strength are highly concentrated natural yogurt bacteria. These bacteria are fermented using some dairy ingredients to ensure their health and vitality. During the manufacturing process this fermentation “medium” is separated from the bacteria, but some trace levels may remain which contain dairy components. The level of dairy is extremely small but could have implications for some people with sensitivity to dairy. Please consult with your healthcare professional if you have sensitivity to dairy and are considering Visbiome or Visbiome Extra Strength.
